Located in the heart of Slingerlands, our cafe has been a beloved local spot since 2002, when Karen Sullivan opened the original bakery shop in Stonewell Plaza, inspired by the baking traditions of her grandmother, Emma Cleary. What began as a cozy bakery quickly grew as Karen’s passion and the community’s appetite called for more - soon, she was offering much more than just pastries. In 2004, the business moved across the street to its current location, and the menu expanded to include a variety of hot and cold lunch sandwiches.

jobsEvery time we come out to Thacher State Park, we always make time to visit Emma Cleary's! This is such a spectacular find with amazing breakfast, great coffee, and some of the best baked breads/pastries you'll find this side of the Hudson! Definitely check this hidden gem out!!!
Great soups, sandwiches, salads and bakery. They have really great pies available to order during the holidays. Very friendly staff, quick service.

I love this place and try to go for lunch once a week. Usually two or three choices of soup and for me the half sandwich and cup of soup lunch special is pretty much all I order.
